The United States of America
Treasury Note
Currency : Dollar (USD)
Here are 3 notes of $5 x 2 and $10 x 1 all printed with a blue seal. These are Silver Certificate printed with the year date of 1934. The US government in 1878 authorised the issue of banknotes that were redeemable for silver coins or silver bullion.
In 1963, Congress abolished the redemption of Silver Certificate when the price of silver worth more than a US dollar an ounce. In March 1964, the US Treasury Department halted all redemption of Silver Certificates for Silver Dollars.
There notes I have posted here are all heavily circulated and they are still legal tender in the USA. I believe they are still plenty of such notes circulating in the US.
Signatures
$5 - William Alexander Julian (Treasurer of the United States) & John Wesley Snyder (Secretary of the Treasury)
$10 - William Alexander Julian (Treasurer of the United States) & Henry Morgenthau Jr (Secretary of the Treasury)
