..United States of America - $1 Dated 2017

United States of America

Federal Reserve System
Currency : Dollar (USD)

Today is 245th year of the Declaration of Independence of the United States. Most Americans would refer this as the 4th of July holiday, rather than Independence Day. At the time of the declaration, there were only 13 American colonies, and King George III was then the King of Great Britain and Ireland.

The Fourth of July is celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbecues or any activities one can think of, just to enjoy this day.

Below I have posted an odd note of $1 with the portrait of George Washington (b.1737-1799), the first President of the United States. There is nothing much I can add to this note, as we all know that the green back is the world most recognised currency, even though they are not the most valuable or the strongest, but one of the tops 3 most negotiable currencies in the world.

This note was given to me as a gift by a good collector friend. This note is also in UNC condition.

Signatures
US Treasurer - Jovita Carranza
Secretary To The Treasury - Steven Terner Mnuchin
