The Bahamas first released its CRISP Evolution (EA) series in 2016, with the $10. The Series 2016 $10 was printed by De La Rue and was printed on paper material.

Fast forward to 2022, a reprint of the same note is issued. This note is printed as Series 2022, and reportedly made available to the public on 15.12.2022. The design of this $10 is the same as the Series 2016, but with colour changed on the design, from the greenish background to grey. The portrait colour of Sir Stafford Lofthouse Sands has also changed from blueish to dark grey colour. The purpose of the colour change is to avoid being confused with the $1 which was released in 2017. In addition to the colour changed, the note is also printed with additional security features, including the Crane's RAPID HD Detect thread and other newly embedded security features.

 

Unlike the 2016 series, this note is printed by Crane Currency of the United States of America, and is also printed on hybrid material. This is the first reprint of the CRISP Evolution series since it was first introduced in 2016.

Front - The main feature on the front is the portrait of Sir Stafford Lofthouse Sands (b.1913-1972). During his lifetime, he was the Minister of Finance of the Bahamas from 1964 to 1967, and is widely known as the Father of Tourism in The Bahamas. In the middle of the note is a Yellow Elder flower, and to the left are the outline maps of The Bahamas.

Back - Featuring the Hope Town lighthouse. This lighthouse was built in 1862, and it is still in operation today powered by kerosene fuel for the signal. Abaco with buildings, yacht, two flamingos flying on the top, with two feeding on the ground.
